Our Prices and our Shoes are RIGHT and WE FIT YOU RIGHT Editor, The Michigan Daily:- In The Michigan Daily of June 3, appeared a communication signed by myself and others asserting that there was in our possession information in affidavit form with reference to the eli- gibility of certain members of the uni- versity baseball team. 1 have decided to comply with the request of the eli- gibility committee of the board in con- trol of athletics and turn this informa- tion in to them today. However, I desire to explain a misleading fea- ture of the communication of Wednes- day. This information was gathered by myself, and none of the men who signed the communication were instru- mental in its gathering. These other signers of that communication, viz., Harold 1-lulbert, '14M, Wm. C. Mullen- dore, '14-'16L, Harry D. Parker, '16L, Lewis Reimann, '17L, and Werner Schroeder, '14-'16L, signed only as en- dorsers"of my signature and as evi- dencing their belief in my good faith and honesty in the matter. The re- sponsibility for this action is not theirs. I desire at this time to make clear their position in-the matter. CHARLES C. WEIBER. Editor, The Michigan Daily:- I take this method of acknowledging the faithful and otherwise unrecog- nized assistance given me by Florence Middaugh, '15, and Beulah Phillips, '17, in conducting this column during the past year. Along social lines, the revival of the Junior Hop was the most noteworthy event of the year.- After a riot at the hop in 1913, the senate put the ban on the annual function, but this year by petition to the senate, the affair was revived. In the matter of the athletic associ- ation, two changes have been brought about. In the system of selecting Var- sity managers, four assistants, instead of the former two, are now being chos- en at the annual election in the spring. In the following year, the association recommends two of the four men to com)ete for the managership.
