TRIEBLOOD'S CLASSES TO GIVE "THE LADY OF LYONS" lDranma Dealing -with French Revolu- Von to Ile Given at 8:0 O'clock Tonight Members of Prof. T. C. Trueblood's classes in Shakespearean reading will jive "The Lady of Lyons," a drama by Lord Lytton at 8:00 o'clock tonight in University Tall. The drama is of in- tense dramatic interest and deals with the French Republic in the latter part of the eighteenth century. The recital classes which contain 75 members will be divided into three sections for the reading of the play. Each section will render three of the nine scenes of the play. Work on the reconstruction and re- modeling of the stage in University Hall has been completed, and new stage effects have been added, which will facilitate in the giving of dramat- ic productions. STUDENT LEAVES FOR FRANCE TO ENTER AERIAL SQUADRN A. C. Maurier, '171), will join the French aerial scouting corps in the near future. Maurier left Ann Arbor yesterday for New York where he will embark for Lyons. Maurier was born in South America, and is a French citizen. Before enter- ing the university he attended the Bed- rines school of aviation in Paris. He has also had practical experience in flying in France. Maurier's father, Francisco Maurier, is the French vice-consul at Cajamar- ca, Peru. One of his brothers is a physician with the French Red Cross society, serving in the Marne theatre of war, and an uncle is an infantry major fighting in Alsace. Maurier received an order several days ago from the French military au- thorities to return to his regiment. The letter stated that he would be as- signed to special service, and that a Bleriot plae was being equipped for his use.
