W. Ehleer, represent- ing the department of physical educa- tion at Wisconsin, inspected Michigan's athletic plant last Wednesday. The system of ticket distribution in- augurated here last fall and carried out at the time of the Pennsylvania and Cornell games, has greatly solved the local problem, and has done away with the long line-up in front of the athletic office, which was so unsatis- factory. Conditions at the Madison institution are very similar to what they were here, and their athletic board is very much interested in the work- ings of the new plan. Director Rowe's intramural system, which has proved so successful here in promoting class athletics, was also gone into thoroughly by the Wisconsin oman. During the tour of inspection around Ferry field, Director Ehleer compli- mented the lay-out of the athletic rounds, and was particularly impress- ed with the new concrete stadium. Plans are being formulated at Wiscon- sin for the erection of a football stadium soon, and it is quite likely that some of the features of the Wol- verine stand may be incorporated, University Ave. Pharmacy Martha Washington Candy. TO ACQUIRE LAND FOR HOME Building Site Extends From Present Quarters To Zeta Psi House On North As a result of negotiations com- pleted yesterday, the Michigan Union acquired the Hendrickson property on State street for a consideration of $10,000. The property is situated be- tween the Pond property adjacent to the Union building and the Zeta Psi fraternity house. While no arrange- ments have been made, it is probable that the tenants of the property will remain on the grounds until the Union is ready to erect the new clubhouse. An option has been obtained on th;, Pond property next to the Union on the north. This means that the Union will own the ground from its present southern line to the Zeta Psi fratern- ity house, when it begins construction of the new building. {i 4a The $500 Prie This ad. pub-. $0 ilb adt h ~lg tdn h ed ou lished in the $500 th et oriia avrtimntforFatima cigarettes Fatima Advertis- puls e wila th writr5 Ilustrate yorad.dif . you can,but if you can't draw then use your kodak or ing Contest, is the descrlbe your idea. * I Pra.e will be awarded by a committee of three prom. work of Mr. A.
