AVIATOR OVERCOMES OBSTACLES' While the Michigan Varsity is en- deavoring to wipe out last year's de- feat at the hands of the Farmers and the All-Fresh are battling with Adrian, a unique performance will be the cen- ter of attraction at Ferry field. Donald Gregory, of this city, who for the past three years has been experi- menting with aeroplanes, will give an exhibition for all who do not follow the Wolverines to Lansing. During the flight, returns from the Aggie con- test and other big games will be read to the spectators. An admission charge of 25 cents will be collected for the purpose of aiding Mr. Gregory in fur- ther aeronautical work. The career of the young aviator has been one that would have discouraged the average man. His first completed, machine was almost demolished by a collision with Ann Arbor's ladder fac- tory. Several successful flights were made during early football practice, and Mr. Gregory has promised an exhibition worth seeing next Saturday. UNIVERSITY Y. M. C. A.
