Thirteen teams, with a total of 84
men, have been ;entered in the seven-
teenth annual interschola stic meet,
scheduled for Ferry field on May 21
and 22. With the entry list open until
tonight,,it is expected that many other
entries will come in during the day.
The dividing of, the competition in-
to two classes has proved popular
with the' smaller schools, several of
whom have entered men in both class
A and class B. The long list of en-
tertainments provided for the visiting
athletes also has been a drawing card.
The biggest teams entered thus far
are Saginaw East Side high, Detroit
Eastern high and Muskegon in, class A,
and Shelby and Deckerville in class 1B.
Other team~ entered in class A
are Constantine, Wayne, Plymouth
and Memphis, and in class 13, St. Jos-
eph, Wayne, Plymouth and Memphis.
The cups for the meet have all been
arranged for, and most of them have
been ordered. A larger number will
be offered than ever before, men who
win places 'in both classes of events
being entitled to the cups. Medals
will be awarded the first three places
in class A, and a ribbon will be given
to the man placing fourth.

The following amendments of the
constitution o1f the University of Mich-
igan Union have been proposed by the
board of directors and will be voted
upon at the mass meeting to be held
in H ill auditorium, on the evening of
May 12.
Article Ill,
Section 2. To be amended to read
as follows: Any per~son eligible to ac-
tive membership may become a life
inember on payment of $50.00.

Section 2. To be. amended to read
as follows: Any 25 members of the
Union may nominate candidates for
any or all offices for which the nom-
inating committee nominates by sign-
ing a petition and filing it, properly
signed, withi the recording sec-
retary before 9:00 o'clock of
the fourth day preceding' Cam~-
pus Elhction Day. On so re-
ceiving tie ndmitition of: one or more
candid~ates, the recordinu secretary
shiall at once cause the list of nomi-
nec.es a ppearin g in The Michigan D~ai-
ly and on t ilk bulletin boards to be
accordingly revised.
Section 3. (a.) The election of offl.-
cers shall be held in University hall,
or such place as the board of direci
tors designates, on the third Saturday
1in May, or on such day as is fixed for
campus election 'day. The polls shall
be open from 0:00 to 12:00 o'clock, or
during what ever time the 'polls for
the Campus Election Day shall be
