Dressers- WE have made a pretty careful study of the men who pass our store and we be- lieve there is a decided inclination toward better dressing since we first offered our superb new tailoring service to the men in town. The fabrics'look better, too. There can be only one verdict when the fabric of a Tailored-to- Measure Suit is Examined--"a fine woolen." Seats for the performance of "Trojan Women" are now on sale at the theater at prices ranging from25 cents to 1. At the latter price box seats may be ob- tained, provided the box is entirely tak- en by a group. Tickets for "The Tro- jan Women," selling for 50 cents, that is, those behind the fourth row in the balcony, will be on sale in the corridor of the library from 9:00 to 5:00 o'clock today. Descriptive literature sent to repre- sentatives of the Drama League, the Women's League, and Masques, under the auspices of which organizations the performance is to be given describes the Party not "as an archaic curiosity, though it was first enacted in 415 B. C. at Athens during the Peloponnesian War, but as a direct message and ap- peal against war's futility and evil." * * * About 15 more university women are needed by Miss Evans to participate in the dancing entertainment to be given after the annual women's Field Day celebration late in May. Women who wish to take part are asked to report to Miss Evans at once. Owing to the cancelling of the con- cert which was to be given by the com- bined Men's and Girls' Glee clubs Fri- day, April 23, there will be no daily re- hearsals of the Girls' Glee club this week, as was previously announced. The next meeting will be at 5:00 o'clock Monday, April 26. Stylus meets at 7:30 o'clock this ev- ening at the home of Helen Blair, '16, 221 South Fifth avenue. * * * University women who wish employ- ment in Ann Arbor for the remainder of this year or the summer vacation are asked to communicate with Dean Jordan at once. in response to misunderstandings with regard to the new halls of resi- dence for university women evinced in the applications received by Dean Jor- dan to date, she wishes to emphasize the following points: The Newberry hall of residence has been formallyturned over to the uni- versity by the trustees of the Students' Christian association, and is fully con- trolled by the board of governors ap- pointed for it by the university authori- ties. The $5.00 deposit required for res- idence in either of the halls is due only on notice of acceptance of the applica- tion. The administration of both the Mar- tha Cook and Newberry halls will be identical, with the exception of the dif- ference in details necessitated by the size of the two, and the fact that towels will be supplied residents in the Cook hall. The Newberry hall faces on State and not on Maynard street. The remov- al of the old athletic association office, which i now in process, will give a large lawn space in front of the build- ing. The Maynard street entrance is to be purely a service entrance. Between 30 and 40 applications for residence in the halls have been receiv- ed by Dean Jordan from prospective freshmen and a large number from up- perclassmen. Omega Phi will meet at 4:15 o'clock today at the home of Miss Clara Belle Dunn, 709 S. Twelfth street. Mr. Mar- tin Feinstein, of the rhetoric depart- went, will speak. 0. F.
