Ultimately Miss Evans plans to have three or four tennis courts for the use of university women put in on this field, which, with the six new courts planned on the improved Palm- er field site and the two in connection with the Newberry hall residence, will make the facilities for this sport un- excelled by those of any women's col- lege or university in the country. Scott, 1351 Washtenaw avenue, Satur- day, April 24. * * * The annual indoor gym meet, held in Barbour gymnasium at 4:00 o'clock yesterday afternoon, was won by Hel- en Vanderneer, '16, with 47.9 points out of a possible 50. The new field was made necessary by the regrading of Palmer field, which has rendered use of the old diamond impossible for the present.
