Liberty St. d shoes re-soled as they should be Michigan's indoor rifle season will be brought to a formal close at the Ri- fie club dinner, to be held at the Union at 6:00 o'clock tonight. Although the dinner is held under the auspices of the Michigan Rifle club, all men inter- ested in shooting are welcome. Tonight's affair will be informal, it being the object of the committee to simply get tdgether for an informal gathering in honor of the indoor team, which acquitted itself so well in its first season of competition. Foremost in securing the success of a rifle team at Michigan have been In- tramural Director Rowe, Major Pack, Professor Hinch and Harry C. Moul, eng. spec., who are particularly ree- onmended by the student members as deserving credit. Moul is president of the infant or- ganization and will be expected to de- liver an address of an informal nature, while the committee on arrangements also hopes to have on hand for tonight the other men who have been active in the organization and development of the Rifle club. Tickets are selling at 75 cents, and may be obtained from officers of the club, or from Director Rowe at the athletic association offices. Y. M. C. A. Officials Attend Conference H. S. It is the insistence of the board in refusing to adopt any of the three first-named solutions, or any- thing which resembles a definite step, which has subjected it to criticism. It is not probable that out-and-out action will be taken today. Members of the boardrsent theacensure which their procrastination has calledforth, and critics believe that they will hesitate to take a'decided move at a time when it might appear to have been the result of public reproach. In the end, however, it is expectd that the agitation wil stimulate thought and bring about some kind of reform. Main floor of Waterman gym will be closed from 1:00 to 3:00 o'clock to- day.
