STANLEY FREDERICK STOCK WILL FEATURE -ICHIGAN ENTRY Official announcement was made yesterday by the executive committee of the board in control of athletics, that Michigan would be represented at the Drake relay games, which are sched- uled for April 17, in Des Moines, Iowa. Not only has Michigan's entry been received, but the officials of the Drake carnival are planning to feature the advent of the Wolverines into the western relays. Coach Farrell of the Michigan track squad has been select- ed as the referee, and will officiate in this capacity. Although nothing definite can be learned with the event so far in the future, it is highly probable that Coach Farrell will place a four-mile team in the field, although he may shift and enter the two-mile affair. It would seem. from the way the team is shaping at present, that a quartet of milers of excellent caliber could be secured. Michigan chances look bet- ter in the four-mile relay now, al- though when the squad goes outdoors on the cinders, things may shape them- selves differently. HALL, 514 E. William Phone 2225 *osCalledFo PRESSING deliveaFor NO LOSS BY FIRE BISHOP TO TALK HERE TONIGHT Wesleyan Guild Lecturer, to Speak at Methodist Church Bishop William F. McDowell, head of the Methodist Episcopal church for the district of Illinois, has been secur- ed to give the Wesleyan Guild lecture, at the Methodist church tonight at 7:30 o'clock. The address of the ev- ening will be supplemented by a spe- cial musical program under the direc- tion of Earl V. Moore. Few lecturers are better known to Ann Arbor audiences than Bishop Mc- Dowell. . He is known throughout the country for his ability as a forceful public speaker with something to say. Bishop McDowell owes in a large part the popularity which he bears among college students throughout the middle west, to the fact that he has always been an annual attendant at the Lake Geneva student conference of college men which is held every year at Williams Bay, Wisconsin. He has become so well known at this con- ference, that in addition to his formal title he also bears the title of Bishop of Lake Geneva bestowed upon him by the college men of the middle west- ern states.
