McCAULEY BEING EXTRADITED
ManA(-eiis.4dof sigma NutBurglar To
Be Brought Back Monday
Chief of Police John T. enny left-
yesterday afternoon for Lansing,where
extradition papers have been made out
for bringing George McCauley back to
Ann Arbor from Indianapolis, From
Lansing, Chief Kenny will go to In-
dianapolis, and he expects to have his
man back in Ann Arbor Monday morn-
ing.
While McCauley is being brought.
back to Ann Arbor on the charge of
burglary, the same charge on which
Starks is being held, it is possible that
McCauley may face a much more se-
rious charge. While the local author-
ities are keeping quiet as to the nature
of the evidence that they possess, it is
known that McCauley is suspected of
being the prime mover in the entire
affair:
The affidavits for the extradition pa-
pers contain statements by Starks,
Chief Kenney and, a third man, whose+
identity has not been divulged, and+
who is said to have overheard the+
conversation between Starks and Mc-.
Cauley, when they planned the robbery
of the sigma Nu fraternity house. 1
