State -Medic Assocatiou Meets Here Ann Arbor will be the scene of the meeting of the council of the Michi- gan State Medical association on Janu- ary 20. Dr. Reuben Peterson, of the university hospital staff, is president of the association, which 'has a mem- bership of more than 2,000. The coun- cil, which numbers 12, will arrive on the 19th and will be entertained the evening of that day by Dr. Peterson. 195 Lits Start Basketball Practice With an eye to the retention of the honors won last year, the senior lits, last year's campus 'basketball cham- pions, will start at 4:00 o'clock this afternoon on their pre-season practice at the Ann Arbor Y. M. C. A. Hereaf- ter it is planned to have regular prac- tice sessions for the team at this hour on Fridays, while 2:30 o'clock will see the champions on the floor on Tuesday afternoons.
