Wellesley college announces the fol- lowing fellowships and graduate schol- arships open to graduates of the Uni- versity of Michigan: 1. The Alice Freeman Palmer fel- lowship, yielding an income of about $1,000 to be used for study abroad, for study at any American college or uni- versity, or privately for independent research. Applications should be filed with the president of Wellesley college not later than February 1, for next year. 2. Thirty graduate scholarhips, to the amount of $175 each, applications for which should be made to the dean of the college. 3. The Susan M. Hallowell fellow- ship of $350, available for graduate study, in candidacy for the M.A. de- gree at Wellesley. Applications should be made to Professor Eliza H. Ken- drick, at Wellesley, before February 1. Further information with regard to any of these fellowships may be ob- tained from Dean Myra B.
