JOSLYN TO HEAD UNION PROGRAM
Illinois Legislator Speaks on "Politics"'
at Sunday Meeting
Hon. R. Waite Joslyn, of Elgin, Ill., a
member of the upper house of the Ill-
inois legislature, will address the
members of the Union at 3:00 o'clock
next Sunday afternoon. Mr. Joslyn,
who is one of the political leaders of
his state and who has had a wide expe-
rience in political affairs, has chosen
for his subject "Politics."
The usual musical program will be
arranged by the following committee
which will have charge of the Sunday
gatherings on December 13 and the
Sunday after vacation: C. T. Bushnell,
'15; M. A. Goff, '16; A. W. Mothersill,'
'15; and E. K. Marshall, '17E.
Ask Episcopal Women to .Club Dinner
All Episcopal women in the univer-
sity are invited to the annual dinner
of the Girls' club of the Episcopal
church, to be held in Harris hall at
6:00 o'clock this evening. The event
is informal and no speeches will be
delivered. Tickets, at 25 cents each,
may be procured at Harris hall, or
from Edna Bromley, '16, Jane Hicks,
'15, or Elizabeth Bostwick, '15.
Name Speakers for Craftsmen Banquet
George W. Kyer and the Rev. Frank
B. Bachelor will be the principal
speakers at the Craftsmen society's
banquet to be held at the Masonic
temple at 6:00 o'clock Saturday. All
student Masons are urged to attend
the dinner.

All architects are invited to make'
the trip to Detroit Saturday arranged
by the Architectural society for 'the
purpose of studying the construction.
