They will take place immediately after glee club rehearsal, to make it convenient for glee club men to attend. "Spotlight Vaudeville" is a series of skits which are to be presented in the nature of a profes- sional vaudeville show on December 11, at 7:30 o'clock in Hill auditorium. Everybody with any ability what- ever is wanted for the tryouts. A wide variety of acts is desired, and special attention will be paid to acts and skits that have not been seen before in campus productions. All members of the Mimes are requested to be present at the tryouts to act as judges. More men will be selected in the open tryouts than will be used in the production, the final elimina- tions being made later on. Skit writers are urged to work up anything that they feel would be de- sirable for the show. Any contribu- tions of this sort must be mailed to General Chairman C. L. MOTION PICTURES OF DEANS WILL FEATURE BAND BENEFIT Motion pictures of the deans of the various departments are now being made for use at the entertainment which will be given in Hill auditorium next Monday, Tuesday. and Wednes- day nights, under the auspices of the Varsity band. The band itself will not play at this entertainment, the only musical number on the program being an imitation of, "talking mov- ies." According to the present plans of the organization, the next appearance of the band will be at the Detroit alumni smoker, which is to be tend- ered the football team at the Board of Commerce building next Saturday night. Regular rehearsals have not been announced as yet, 'but it is expected that at least one rehearsal each week will be held during the winter. An effort will be made to arrange for the appearance of the band at dances. Under the direction of Mr. H. E. Rich- ards, of Detroit, a large amount of concert and dance music is being pre- pared. Coach McCall was well pleased with the performance of his charges against the Interlaken school last Saturday, and the points which Michigan amass- ed leads him to believe that the team will finish the season without the taste of defeat.
