may take full courses leading to graduation, or they
may pursue some particular subject, such as voice, pi-
ano, violin, etc., supplementary to their other work.

The next number on the Faculty
Concert series will be given Thursday
afternoon, November 5, at 4:15 o'clock
in Hill auditorium, when several mem-
bers of the faculty of the university
school of music will appear.. The gen-
eral public is cordially invited to be
present at this concert for which no
admission charge will be made. Par-
ents, however, are kindly requested
to refrain from bringing small chil-
dren, and the general public is re-
quested to come early as the concert
will begin promptly at the hour sched-
uiled, and the doors will be closed dur-
ing the performance. The program
will be arranged to last approximate-
ly one hour and no encores will b'e
given.

SEVERAL JOBS FOR STUDENTS
Employment for several students is
open at the- bureaus of the Michigan
Union and the University Y. M. C. A.
A total of 1,100 jobs have been given
out by the combined bureaus, and 89
have been distributed since Monday.
The University Y. M. C. A. has given
out 69 commissions to students dur-
ing the last seven lays. Eight acted
as jurymen in a scene in the "Legend
of Leonora" at the Whitney last night,
and many others did cleaning and
garden work.t
