4-yard line. Maulbetsch plunged'
through the line for a touchdown, car-
rying three men with him to the mid-
dle of the goal posts. Bushnell's at-
tempt at goal was blocked.

Captain Raynsford kicked off to
Rose. Wilkinson punted to Bushnell
on Michigan's 20-yard line. Catlett
made two on a fake punt and then
kicked to L. Johnson who made a
long return to Michigan's 45-yard line.
The quarter ended with the ball in
Syracuse's. possession on Michigan's
43-yard line.

Seymour went in for L. Johnson and.
Kingsley replaced O'Connell at full-
back. Wilkinson punted out of bounds
on Michigan's 3-yard line. Catlett'
punted high to Seymour who returned.

ward passes failed, and Catlett punted
to Kingsley who was stopped by Bush-
nell on Michigan's 34-yard line. Rose,
Rafter and Kingsley made 10 yards in
three downs. Rose ran 20 yards1
through the Michigan team for a
touchdown. Huebel replaced Bush-a
nell and Quail went in for Rehor. Al-
most a new team took the field for
Syracuse. Rose kicked goal.
Score-Michigan 6, Syracuse 20.
Syracuse returned the kickoff and
fumbled on Michigan's 48-yard line.
Michigan fumbled and T. Johnson re-
covered for Syracuse. Rafter made
first down on an end run and time was
