Inman Sealby, '14L, is plan- ning to stop a few days in Ann Arbor on his way to his future home in San Francisco. Capt. Sealby has had a most novel career. Four years 'ago he was commander of the "Republic," and when that ship was sunk off Nantucket he came to Michigan to study law. He was then a man almost 50 years old, when the average man if robbed of his vocation consigns himself to the realm of fail- ures. Sealby, however, pot only com- peted with younger men sucessfully in his classes, but he also made himself well known and immensely popular on the campus. He is now planning to go to Genoa and London, where he is to receive honors for his heroic conduct. Upon his return, he will practice admiralty law in San Francisco. WILSON MEN WILL HOLD RALLY Plan Big Demonstration When Ex- Mayor McClellan Speaks. All men, whatever their political creed may be, are welcome at the Wil- son club rally Thursday night at 8:00 p. m. at McMillan hall. Professor Philips will be. the principal speaker on the program and will discuss the po litical situation. Frank Murphy and Maurice Toulme are also scheduled to talk. Among other things which will be discussed are the plans for the big parade and demonstration when Ex- Mayor McClellan speaks here at the Whitney next Tuesday night. The Wil- son club will have some sort of a cel- ebration in his honor and a big stu- dent demonstration is being talked of. The meeting Thursday is expected to be a record breaker in enthusiasm, as the election is only two weeks away and politics is becoming a live topic. ILLINI CLUB WILL ELECT NEW PRESIDENT WEDNESDAY The Illini club will hold a short smoker at the Union tomorrow even- ing at 7:00 o'clock to which all Illi- nois men are invited. A president will be elected at this meeting to take the place of John Gutknecht who has not returned to Michigan this fall. Tick- ets to the smoker may be procured from officers of the club and members of the committee at 25 cents each. There will be no question as to the quality of the present when you give her Huyler's Candy. Phone 57. -----mw For THE HOUSE OF STANDARD QUALITY 2M-50 Bo Itwo Varsity Toggery 1107 S.
