Night editor-Lester F. Rosenbaum OPEN THIS MORNING! If Moon Brothers' three ring circus and world's greatest menagerie makes Prune Center this summer, you'll "doll" up and go, won't you? Circuses and small towns seem inseparably al- lied. The connection between universities and exhibits of its work may not be as marked as all this, but will be some day, we hope. The campus little real- izes the magnitude of the exhibit which the engineering and forestry depart- ments will open to the public this morning. Instruction, amusement, and entertainment are yours for the ask- ing. Better "doll" up and get over. Opportunity, they say, knocks but once and is gone. CO-OPERATION NEEDED. For years the Michigan campus has been recommending that our present loose-jointed cheering system make way for something more in keeping with Michigan. ThaLomething has finally come. What shall be done with it We shall look for the answer in the temper of your reception of the new plan. It means the opening of a brand new field for men who are anxious to do things for the university. Organ- ized cheering plays a big part in the winning of games; the cheer-lead- er is the maker or breaker of this part. Michigan can have good cheering if Michigan's studenUs will make the system workable. This means not only getting men to work in the try- outs, but also a disposition of co-oper- ation toward those who are willing to serve the necessary apprenticeship.
