SYRACUSE TEAM TO BE CHOSEN TODAY It was definitely announced yester- day, by Drector Bartelme, that a relay race is to form part of the Syracuse meet program. By the terms of the agreement signed by the athletic man- agement of the two universities to govern the meet, the team to win the relay event will garner five points, while the efforts of the losing quartet will count them nothing. Trainer Farrell will look over his material carefully with a view of de- ciding on the four men to run the re- lay, and will probably hold trials this afternoon to guide him in his choice. The names of the fourteen athletes to make the Syracuse journey will be made public immediately after today's work-out. It is certain that Farrell will be influenced inhis selection by consideration of the ability of the sprinters and middle distance men to show up well in the relay contest Trials will be held this afternoon to enable the trainer to pick the fresh- men to compete in the meet with the, M. More than one-fourth of the museum building is now used for purposes of instruction for which it was not intended and to which it is not suited. This condition has caused great loss to the university by the re- tracting of offers of gifts of valuable collections, which subsequently were given to other universities. i An E arly Start Counts a great deal toward the success and enjoyment of any .branch of athletics, as well as in all other lines of human endeavor.
