Denison was in attendance at the meet- ing of the association held yesterday in New York city. With the news of Denison's el tion came the announcement~ th this year's Intercollegiate will be taged at Harvard on May 30 and 31. he admis- sion to membership of th University of California was also reported as a matter of interest to Michigan track supporters. The interest attaching itself to the admission of California to the Eastern Intercolligate association lies in the fact that California has been hivited to stop off at Ann Arbor on the way to the eastern event and use Ferry field to limber up her athletes on the long jaunt across the continent. Chanc- es that some sort of competition be- tween the Michigan and California athletes on theeday before the men de- part for the east seem more favorable than before California's admission, ac- cording to those who are in touch with the situation.
