With the opening reflection that one
smile is worth a dance bid on any co-
educational campus, we proceed to the
actual dirty work of the day..
Insert Knife at This Point.
Wilyunm's bought a little safe
To stow away his copper;
No more lux'ries NOW for Bill,
Till he's a gay J-Hopper.
Mary has been bid for weeks
To come and tap Bill's cash-box;
But meantime in old Hometownburg
SHE'S tapping OTHER Bills in
flocks.
He Went Down About Here.
Cecil Cyril Clarence Claude
Rote a soulful romance;
Hied his-self to the publisher.
Oh Joy!
That terribul Ttitan, the publisher,
Read the rabid raving,
'He tore it into TINY TATTERS.
Oh Darn.

ITHEATRICAL CIRC LES

THEY ARE PAINTED NOW SO
BE VERY CAREFUL SATURDAY
Three sections of the bleachers on
the north side of the Varsity gridiron
are receiving a brand new covering
of red paint. The "artists" are spread-
ing the coloring with the greatest pos-
sible speed and it is hoped that by Sat-
urday it will be sufficiently deprived
of moisture to allow the students to
perch upon the planks without dan-
ger of any blemish adhering to their
vestures. The rest of the needy bleadh-
ers will be supplied in the near future
so that by the time of the Cornell
game, the grads will behold the am-
phitherater entirely re-clothed.

New Show at the Majestic.
The entire program will be changed
at the Majestic theater tonight and the
management promises a vaudeville bill
that will surpass all previous efforts.
Instead of the usual one star act, there
will be two, each dividing the honors
of that much coveted position. Menlo
Moore's Singing Boys accompanied by
Miss Lorna Jackson, better known as
the aeroplane girl, will be important
factors, together with Mr. and Mrs.
Allison in their well known comedy,
"Minnie from Minnesota." This will
be a return engagement for the Alli-
sons. A sensational roller skating act
and two representative members of
the colored race will also appear to-
night.
The famous minstrel end man,
known as Bud Williamson, who has
been featured with Al G. Field's min-
strels and other organizations of a'
similar nature will talk and sing. A
matinee will be given tomorrow af-
ternoon at 3:00 o'clock. One week'
from tonight Adams and Guhl will re-
turn in their new musical comedy en-
titled "The Two Admirals in Sunny
Spain."
Telephone 57 for Huyler's candy.
DEAN COOLEY TELLS FRESH
THAT HAZING MUST STOP.
"Anyone caught hazing will be expell-
ed or suspended" were the words Dean
Cooley of the engineering department
in his first weekly address to the
Freshman Assembly yesterday. "This
ruling is a law of the University which
could not be altered by any preference
of mine or the desire of anyone else."
Huyler's candy is guaranteed. Dean
