COURTESY.
We are certain that the efforts of
the Union dance committee to elimi-
nate those types of dancing which are
in. any way ,subject to adverse criti-
cism, will not -only meet with the ap-
proval of the campus, but its co-opera-
tion as well. If one other objection-
able feature can be removed-and it is
hardly a task for any committee to per-
formi-the Union dances can be made
even more popular than they are now,
which would bey saying a, good deal.
That objection centers in the attitude
assumed on the part of some toward
the chaperones.
The Union dances are not public
dances. They are ..private in every
sense of the word-Union parties for
Union members. Those who attend'
as chaperones are prominent faculty
people, interested in the Union, iii
mlost'cases, members, and in all cases,
in the sane position as the chaperone:,
are at any other private party. As
a matter of courtesy, those who attend
Union dances should greet -the guests,
of that organization.
WH.UICH ?
Tlhere are those who work their way
through the university and those who
wvor'k their way through b~y making-
f hose who work through do their work
for them. This seems a bit tangled
:and initangible but it reduces to a
simnple proposition we are all familiar
Frith.
Of the first type we're proud; of the
latter, not. You know the negative.
Open every evening until 9:30. Sun-,
dlays from 9:30 to 12:30, 1:30 to 3:30
only. Lyndon's kodaks, films, flash-
