J. H. Roper will speak on "Current Events," and a business meeting will conclude the evening. The meeting is schedul- ed for 7:00 o'clock in the engineering society rooms. Prof. Pillsbury Still Confined at ilonie Prof. W. B. Pillsbury, who was tak- en with an attack of acute indigestion' Monday while lecturing, before his class in psychology, is resting com- fortably at his home and should be out within a few days. It is not like- ly that he will resume his classes un- til the middle of next week. Professor Hoad to tecture in Kansas, Prof. W. C. Road, of the engineering department, left yesterday morning for Lawrence, Kansas, where he will address a mass meeting of citizens on their water supply problem. From there Prof. Road will go to Nebraska where he will attend a meeting of a IAN DAILY College Presidents Meet in Detroit. Pres. Hutchins spent yesterday in Detroit in conference with Pres. J. L. Snyder, of the Michigan Agricultural College, and Pres. F. W. McNair, of the Michigan College of Mines. The pres- idents gather four times a year to dis- cuss matters of common interest con- cerning their schools. Yesterday's meeting was held at the Pontchartrain hotel. WHITI Friday, D C. Ii. Lazear, Pres. Merit Raag and others. Judging from the large number of tickets sold by last night nearly every engineer will be present. Websters to Initiate :New Members. Webster society will have a varied program tonight. David E. Williams will speak on "Two Years in the Prov- inces," Fenn H. Cooney on "What to do with our Ex-presidents," and James W. Mackey on "The Divorce Probleni." The parliamentary drill will be on the Conference question and after the program the annual initiation of new members will take place.
