Made of the purest Turkish- Tobaccos B ox 1 "Steve" Farrell, experienced and competent, is the man who will train Michigan's athletes during the athletic season of 1912-1913. In the short time that he has been at Michigan, Farrell has already won the respect and confidence of coaches and athletes. Already the men who have come in contact with the quiet gentlemanly trainer are more than impressed with his personality and his efficiency as a trainer. If there is anywhere a man who can equal the popularity of Keene Fitzpatrick, it is expected that "Steve" Farrell will be that man. Farrell comes to Michigan highly recommended. At Ohio State Univer- sity where he coached and trained the athletes in various branches of sports the students hold him in high esteem. When he left o. S. U. the stu- dents subscribed for a loving cup with which the trainer was presented as a slight token of the regard of the stu- dent body. This, however, is not the only rec- ommendation with which Farrell comes to Michigan. Such eminent trainers as "Mike" Murphy, say that Farrell is one of the most competent of trainers in the business today, and this, apparently, is one of the highest compliments that can be paid a train- er, coming as it does from the man who looked after the conditioning of the American Olympic team at the" recent game at Stockholm. Farrell spends the summer months training the athletes of the Montreal Athletic Club.
