pointment Committee.
Four hundred students, graduates
and undergraduates, assembled in the
Tappan hail lecture room Monday af-
ternoon in order to meet the prelimi-
nary qualifications for registration
with the teacher's appointemnt com-
mittee.
Prof. C. 0. Davis explained in detail
the purpose of this agency and told
about the success it had met with in
the past. Temporary enrollment
blanks were given to each student.

Ann Arbor music losvers will have
the privilege tomorrow night of hear-
ing Carrie Jacobs Bond in a recital of
her own compositions. The program
has not yet been announccd but it will

8:00 o'clock in Newberry Hall.
Prof. Loeffler Goes to Rochester.
Prof. E. T. Loeffler of the dental de-
partment will atte'id the convention of
the dental societies of the seventh and
eighth districts of New York, at Roch-
ester tomorrow. He will discuss a
paper to be presented by Dr. E. C.
Kirk of Philadelphia.

alternate assistant varsity manager in

8. These rules to go into effect im-
mediately following semi-annual ath-
letic meeting, Jan. 1913.
III. Be it further resolved that in
order:
1. To facilitate the inauguration of
the competitive system that the juniors
be allowed to compete in the spring
of 1913 for varsity track and baseball
manager for following year, two men
to be appointed by aforesaid board to
run for election in Oct. 1913.
2. In the fall of 1913 Juniors will
be allowed to compete for varsity foot-
ball manager.
