In Tuesday's scrimmage the regulars scored once against the first year men and then were unable to do anything for seventeen minutes. With the line thus strengthened the freshmen can take a new lease on life and with their backfield working up to the standard of the individual players, they should complete the remainder of their schedule in grand 'style. Meed's charley-horse has so far recovered as to permit him to don the togs of bat- tle and again be with the team and he will no doubt be able to play next Sat- urday. Hunt is making good at quarter and runs the team in nice style, while Rhoem and Diehl are dependable at half and full. Gault, who was taken out of the Detroit University game with a dislocated knee, is still handi- capped with his injury, but will not be prevented from playing in the next contest.
