FORWARD, THE GUILLOTINE
Michigan has too many yells to trifle.
with travesties. Michigan has serious
business ahead. Smother the "Ypsi,"
kill it, put it in the tender hands of the
butcher. We will have no more of it.
It's the fusser's favorite pastime. And
Michigan has not time for the "lady-
ships" tonight.
Michigan yells for Michigan, the
"Ypsi" for some other place.

ness staff and tryouts this afternoon at
4:30 o'clock.
YELL! YELL! YELL!
Let's go! A mighty host will answer
the S. O.S. signal tonight. Five thous-
and racous throated, red blooded fans
will batter their lungs into whispered
hoarseness.
Stand up, when your president's
likeness is thrown on the canvas. Yell,
and show him how glad you are that
he made your meeting possible.
Yell, when Fielding H. Yost appears.
Yell,; and show him that you still have

Editor, The Michigan Daily:-
"Through your columns you may ex-
tend a hearty invitation to the Michi-
gan' fellows from us to come down
with the team and enjoy our southern
hospitality for a few days.
"With best wishes, I am,
Yours sincerely,
EDITOR, VANDERBILT HUSTLER."
We wish we could. We wish that we
were no so far removed from each
other.
But we thank you, and we admire
you.
EVERYBODY IS NOBODY.
Everybody is nobody! What a para-
dox, yet what a pat, snug phrase?
That is the "nigger in the wood pile"
in Michigan's mass meeting dilemma.
Without criticizing anyone, we are
convinced that the mass meetings have
gone a begging since the blanket tax
was established. Suddenly these "pets"
of Michigan spirit became step chil-
dren, and'they have already gone neg-
lected too long.
We want somebody, not everybody,
