Farrell, of the Wolverine track team, has already begun laying his plans for the coming season, the most import- ant item in the campaign being the de- velopment of a four-mile relay team for the Penn games. The training of this squad will commence with the cross-country work in the fall, and will Ve followed during the indoor practice by the general conditioning of all his Varsity material. Farrell left for Chicago early yester- day morning to attend the annual Western Conference meet on Stagg's field, but before going he gave an ink- ling of just what he expects for the Michigan track men next year.
