--Mr. A. N. Fox, instructor in descrip-,
tive geometry and drawing in the en-
gineering 'department, has resigned
from the university to take up a posi-
tion as department manager for the
Frontier Press Company, of Buffalo,
at its newly established office in De-
troit. He will assume his new duties
in the fall.
--Tau iDelta Sigma, honorary archi-
tectural fraternity, elected officers yes-
tperday for the coming year as follows
president, ;1. B. Jewell, '15A; vice-
president, R. C. Perkins, '15A; secre-
tary-treasurer, George M. Meconkey,
'14A.
--Prof. Aubrey Tealdi, of the depart-
ment of landscape design, has return-
ed from a visit to the Ontario Agri-
cultural College at Guelph, Ontario,
to observe the results of experiments
that are being carried on there for the
eradication of dandelions. The exper-\
iments, which are being carried on,
by means of chemical applications,
have been very successful.

On next Tuesday evening in High
School hall Mme. Eleanor Hazzard
Peacock of Detroit will give her inter-
pretation of "The Tragedies and Tat-
tletales of Toytime," for the benefit of
the Episcopal church boys' choir for
their annual outing fund.
Every year the boys of the' choir
have an outing at Vhitmore Lake, and
some sort of an entertainment is ar-
ranged by which they raise money to
defray expenses of the outing. This
year Mrs. Peacock, who is well and
favorably known in this city, where
