KEEWATIN ACADEMY SENDS BUNCH OF CRACK ATHLETES Entrees Instructed to Register This Morning at Waterman Gymnasium Preliminaries for the sixteenth an- nual interscholastic track meet will begin this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at Ferry field. Most of the contestants have already arrived. Among the teams that arrived yes- terday afternoon was that of Keewatin Academy, Wisconsin. With such stars as Goelitz and Robinson, the former Mercersburg star dash man, they should be able to render an excellent account of themselves. They will, however, have their hands full when it comes to heading the strong aggrega- tion from Chicago University High, which won the Illinois interscholastic at Champaign last week. Records made by some of the 214 men entered promise good competition in all events and the chances are that several new marks will be set up. Eastern high school of Detroit claims to have a pole vaulter who can beat the present record of 12 feet 5-8 inch- es. All contestants will register at Wat- erman gymnasium this morning be- fore 11:00 o'clock, at which time they will receive their numbers and con- testants tickets. Promptly at 11:00 o'clock automobiles will leave the gymnasium and convey the boys around the city and boulevards. This evening at 7:00 o'clock they will listen to the combined senior sing and at 7:30 o'clock a band concert will be given on the campus. Dancing will begin immediately after the cap night cele- bration. Tickets are, selling for $2.00. Ask Students Not to Burn Property Michigan Union Boat club authorities urge that students who go up the riv- er should stop destroying the proper- ty of the Union which has been placed on the beach for use in the regatta. Several tables and other property of the Union have already been burned by thoughtless canoeists. Include Today's Entries in Program. Entries for water events of the re- gatta will be included in the official program, if mad at the Union desk to- day. This extension of time is made because of the small number who had signed up by last night. a Edward McNamara Star Baritone Singer FEATURED IN CO L 0LEGlE VAUDEVILLE HILL AUDITORIUM 8:00, Tomorrow Night 25c-SEATS SE[LIN6 AT WAHR'S,SHEEAN'SAND UNION- 5Dc permit the musicians to fill other en- gagements.
