He issued but a trio of free pass- es, and struck out three of the Or- an gem en. Eight Men at Btat He was incidentally mixed up vitally in the scoring. In the second inning Hippler sent Baker home after, the shortstop had gained his base via the hit route. With the Michigan catcher on first, Quaintance landed on the ball for a clean triple, and Hippler counted. Sheehy was lilt by Nichols, stole sec- ond, and then Howard's clean hit scor- ed them both. The total for this in- ning was four, with nine Wolverines facing the pitcher before the last man went down. In the seventh they again pried open the lid and eight men came to bat. Howard singled and McQueen walked. Then Sisler came through with his full-route slamn. Four other Michigan runners got on the sacks in this inning, but a combination of force outs, strike- outs and nipped stek.lers ended the segring. Leave for Ithaca The victory of the Wolverines today gives them a record of 15 straight wins. The squad left tonight for Itha- ca where the Cornellians will be the opposition tomorrow. Ferguson is scheduled to appear on the mound for the westerners, while Regan will try to come back and get revenge for the defeat he suffered on Ferry field last week. The score: ORPHEUM Wed. Vision Conies to Jeanne In brief the story of Jeanne d'Arc is as follows: After the frolic about the "Ladies Tree" at Domremy, Jeanne d'Arc sees a vision urging her to save France. She beholds the saints, Cath- erine and Margaret, who are appointed guardians over the peasant maiden and her task. Jeanne then obtains an audience with the Dauphin. She begs for arms and troops. These are granted her and the royal standard is led forth to battle. The seige of Orleans ensues. The commander of Orleans defies the maid, and her demands for surrender. Jeanne leads the attack upon the city, and on her white horse sets the example for bravery which results in the fall of Orleans.
