By failing to appear, the soph medics forfeited their game to the jun- ior engineers. Darnell, a south-paw, worked in the box for the soph lits and was well sup- ported in the fielding end of the game. Three men, Richardson, Gibbs, and Hoover, did the mound work for the freshmen. Hoover's form was the best, and the score might have been differ- ent had he pitched the whole game. The game was close all the way through, and the final score was only 9 to 5 in favor of the sophs. The junior llts looked better in their 12 to 3 game with the senior medics than they did in their practice games. Vollmeyer pitcher good ball for the lits, and was largely responsible for the ease with which they took the long end of the score. The schedule for today's game fol- lows: senior laws vs.fresh engineers; senior lits vs. fresh pharmis.
