Smith, '04E, is in New York city this week where he is carrying on the campaign for funds with which to build the new Y. M. C. A. building. -The Round-Up club will hold its reg- ular monthly -dance tomorrow night at 8:30 o'clock at the Union. Prof. J. R. Rood, of the law department, and Mrs. Rood, will chaperone the party. Nominations for new members to fill the places of the senior members of the club, will take place shortly. -The loungers will meet as usual to- morrow night at 7:30 o'clock at the Union. Tables will be provided for those wishing to play bridge or five hundred. Beginning next Friday, special arrangements will be made for beginners and a record will be kept of the high score made each night. -Upwards of twenty students were operated upon at the university hos- pitals during vacation, for nasal troub- les. -"A number of spring house cleaning jobs are open to students who are in need of work" was the announcement made yesterday by Carl E. Guthe, '14, secretary of the Union employment bureau. -Prof. T. E. Rankin is the authorof an article, "The Bible, the Supreme Product of Literary Art," which ap- pears in the April Issue of the Homi- letic Review, published by Funk and Wagnalls, of New York City.
