Large Amateur Finishers agree that Tank
Development for Films gives more detail and
better contrast than the old hand method-and
there is not the inclination to slight the work in a rush, while the chances
of scratching the emulsion is practically eliminated.
In tank development the developer is easily kept at the proper temperature am
strength, which is very essential but almost impossible in any other method. It will
pay you to consider our methods in fixng and washing, as well. It is rather expen-
sive for you when your films are spoiled in developing. etter bring them to me and
make sure. If you want we'll show you how it's done here. LYNDON

GOLF ENTHUSIASTS
FORM ASSOCIATION
Allen M. Reed, '15L, was elected
president and T. Hawley Tapping,'16L,
was chosen secretary of the new Uni-
versity of Michigan Golf Association,
organized at a meeting of nearly fifty
golf enthusiasts held last night in the
Waterman gymnasium. President
Reed is to appoint a board of directors
which will complete the organization
of the new golf club.
The meeting of last night was the
result of a call issued by Floyd A.
Rowe, director of intramural activi-
ties, and was attended by many men
who have had experience in the Scotch
game. While no definite plans were
outlined last night, it is the hope of
the new club that an agreement with
the Ann Arbor Golf Club can be effect-
ed whereby the members of the uni-
versity organization will be able to
use the club's course for a campus
championship tournament during the
coming spring.
A second meeting of the association
is to be held next Wednesday night
in the gymnasium, at which time
President Reed will announce his di-
rectorate and the plans which have
been made.
FRESHMAN BROTHERHOOD IS
NEW CAMPUS ORGANIZATION.
The Freshman Brotherhood, a new
organization for the promotion of
bible study and social service among
the freshmen of the university, has
recently made its appearance on the
campus, with recognition from the
committee on Non-Athletic affairs. It
has a membership of about 90 and
plans are being made for a large pub-
lic dinner to be held this month. The
officers are: president, C. R. Webb,
lit; vice-president, G. R. Brown, lit;
secretary, M. K. Meade, eng; treas-
urer, D. M. Wells, lit.
Former Student Dies From Injuries
Collins P. Emerson, Jr., a former
student in the law department, died
at his home in Cedar Rapids, Iowa,
January 30, following injuries receiv-
ed a few days before in a railroad
wreck in Indiana. Emerson withdrew
from the law department in 1910, dur-
ing his senior year. He had intended
to reenter college this semester, and
was on his way to Ann Arbor when
the accident occurred. He was a mem-
ber of Sigma Nu fraternity.
