Miss tmma Sawtell, assistant in
Barbour gymnasium, was taken sud-
denly ill with diphtheria on Friday
last, and was removed at once to the
University hospital. The case has
been pronounced not serious, and a
speedy recovery is hoped for.

The annual circus given by the
women's league will be held next
Friday afternoon in Barbour gym-
nasium. The committee in charge
has not yet made public its plans for
the entertainment, but promises a
number of attractive features. All
women are urged to watch the post-
ers in University hall and Barbour
gymnasium for further information.
