C. football game, rumors of which are heard on all sides, seem extremely remote to those in charge of the Wolverines' athletic destinies, much as such a cohtest would be rel- ished by Michigan. While Director Bartelme of the Ath- letic association is willing to guaran- tee the Aggies a $5,000 and over share of the gate receipts if such a contest were played on Ferry field November 22, there seems but little chance of the contest being arranged. In the first place, the Farmers have everything to lose and nothing to gain by playing Michigan again, and it is doubtful if the tempting gate guaran- tee would induce them to risk their justly won laurels. At the same time there are many admirers of the M. A. C. team, who have not had an oppor- tunity of seeing their favorites in ac- tion, and who would enjoy seeing the gane staged on Ferry field. On the shield in the center of the pin will be engraved the yellow and blue "M" designating the universiiy where the chapter is organ- ized. Initials of the owner may also be inscribed. FOOTBALL GARGOYLE NUMBR TO BE PUT ON SALE FRIDAY.
