Interclass Protesters. Charity is a great virtue, talked of by many but practised by only a few. If this be taken to heart, the number of protests might be lessened and the already great burdens of the inter- class manager will not be made too onerous. And to get back to our first thought, be charitable, and remember that the manager is but human. s~lown Calk Speaking of superfluous hair and whiskers o. s. Art Curtis is nursing a hirsute adiornment as an occupation and coaching the debating team of Escanaba High as a side line. Just to convey assurance that the inevitable is on the job we report that Tom Major is occupied with the com- pilation of another monument in the field of fiction. "Luv's Labor" is the cognomen of the promised arrival. 0. s. D. Asa Hinckley is increasing the world's visible supply of insurance policies at the expense of the natives of Kalamazoo, the abode of web-foot- ed celery growers and lunatics. He will sell you a casualty policy that will protect against nose bleed, bun- ions, mange in the family cat, or the bursting of canned fruit. Try to imagine an inter-class game without white-hot wrangling and gnashing of teeth.
