Ann Arbor has a flying squadron. For the past few days the auto and motorcycle speedsters have been watched closely by a plain clothes man on a motorcycle. This part of the local police department was in- stalled last Tuesday and several ar- rests have been made, mostly on State street. The offenders are arraigned before Judge Doty. 319 F. A baker's dozen Republicans of the insurgent persuasion gathered in one of the parlors of Newberry Hall last evening to found the progressive Re- publican Club of the University of Michigan. Peter A.
