Huebel replaced Carpel, Garrels went in for Almen- dinger, Bogle went to guard in plac l of Quinn and Roblee took the place at tackle left vacant by the shift of Bo- gle. A series of forward passes, five in number, worked for O. S. U. till Craig intercepted the last one and the ball was in Michigan's possession on her own 20 yard line. Craig, Thomson, Huebel and Wells gained for the home team but Thomson was forced to punt. Wright punted at once but the Buck- eye's los by the interchange as it was Michigan's ball on Ohio's 50 yard line. Picard went in at quarter in place of McMillan. Gains by Picard, Thomson Wells and Craig put the ball on the 1 yard line and Thomson slipped over for the third and what proved to be the last score of the day. Conklin missed an easy goal. Michigan was playing the hardest at this stage that it had any time dur- ing the day and though but a few min- utes remained carried the ball to the 6 inch line just as the final whistle blew. Ohio fought hard all of the time but Foss was the only man they had who could gain. The little white top gave a wonderful 'exhibition of running back punts and of dodging through a broken field but he fell down hard at drop kicking. The Michigan team is so well balanced that it is hard to pick out one man as better than an- other but Thomson, Wells, and Bogle showed such class that they demand recognition. The team looked slight- ly improved over last Saturday but there is room for a whole lot more.
