President Hutchins will be the guest
of honor at the fifth annual banquet of
The Craftsmen, the university Mason-
ic club, to be held at the Michigan Un-
ion, Saturday June 1 at 6:30. For Fri-
day evening the club is planning a trip

Claude A. Thompson, '05 L, and bus-
iness manager of The Michigan Daily
for that year has recently been ap-
pointed special assistant to the Attor-
ney General in addition to being As-
sistant District Attorney for the
southern district of New York.
GRADUATE CLUJB TO PARADE IN
COSTUME COMMENCE11IENT WEEK
At a meeting of the Graduate club
held yesterday afternoon it was de-
cided that the members would appear
in the commencement parade in caps
and gowns. It is expected that all the
75 who are taking graduate work will
participate in the celebration.
A banquet will be given in Barbour
gym Friday night at 6 o'clock, and
dancing in the gymnasium will follow.
Tickets for the banquet and dance are
selling for 75 cents.
New Radiators Put in Dent Building.
A number of new radiators are be-
ing installed in the clinic of the den-
tal building. When the building was
erected, the heating capacity of the
present radiators was overestimated,
and during the past winter, the low
temperature of the large operating-
room was constantly felt. The old ra
diators will be used in the Hill audito-

IUSWCAL CLUBS TO GiVE-
ANNUAL SERENADE TONIGhT
Not with a blare of trumpets, but
with the merry tinkle of mandolins
and guitars and voices, the Musical
clubs will make the rounds of the
sororities, and treat them with a few
harmonious numbers, and incidentally
attempt to break all records for con-
tinuous progressive eating tonight.
Two wagons wtillcarry the entertain-
ears, and the start wvill be made at 6
o'clock from University hall, and all
club men are requested to be there on
time.
MU'SIC AND I)IRAMA.
Pupils' Recital.
On Wednesday evening of this week,
a public pupils' recital will be given
at the School of Music by advanced
pupils of the vocal department. Sev-
eral quartet numbers will be heard.
The public is cordially invited to listen
to the program.
