Starting merely with the Idea of see- ing what could be made in the way of a. drama. The co-authors gradually found that they had compiled a play of real merit. When the book was finished, the dramatists looked about for a place to try their creation. Mr. E. D. Stair, owner of a number of theatrical enter- piises, became interested in the play and decided to produce it. He thought immediate ly of Norman Hackett to fill the leading role. Mr. Hackett had starred two seas- ons in "Classmates" and "Beau Brum- mel" and spent last year with "The City," playing one of the leading parts He was engaged for the title role in "Satan Sanderson" and the entire pro- duction was made under the supervis- ion of the authors. It has been travelling through Ohio and Pennsylvania. Following a single night here, the company will be seen in Detroit for an entire week. * * * * * * * * i * * :* CLASSIFIED ADS. .Advertising matter for this * classified column must always * be paid for in advance, and may be left at the DAILY office op. * posite the Majestic between the * hours of 12 noon and 10 p. m., * or at Quarry's Drug Store, N.f University and State, at any time up to 9:30 p.m. * These Ads bring Results. * * * * * * * * * * * * LOST i SUB rte' _ ivered to all pats of the city Tel. 458 719 N.
