THE MICHIGAN DAILY Its JUNIOR LAWS- ADD ANOTHER VICTORY Senior Lits Lose First Game of Year to Legalities Through Han. dicap Score of 4 to 1. STAGE FINAL GAME ON FRIDAY. By holding their opponents runless for seven innings yesterday afternoon while they were chalking up four credit marks on their own tally sheet, the junior laws added the scalp of their old enemey, the senior lits, to their broken string of victories and placed themselves one notch closer to the coveted campus championship. In spite of the fact that the lits threaten- ed to be dangerous but once during the whole fray, the game was interest- ing all the way, heavy clouting and tight fielding featuring the work of both teams. The star defensive play of the afternoon was made in the fourth inning when Restrick, the lit short-stop, pulled off a running back- hand catch, the bases being full and two out. Pennell, who did the twirl- ing for the seniors was in no condi- tion for duty, having been in bed all day with a severe case of tonsilitis. The final game of the series will take place Friday afternoon on the varsity diamond and will be played by the two teams having the highest standing in the semi-finals.
