MICHIG. 6 s MUSIC AND DRAMA i; I i .. nr . nlltilyyl: I Beautiful Chorus in "A Winning Miss" I "A Winning Miss" company which always boasted of the prettiest chorus in musical comedy will be seen at the Majestic theater for a three days' en- gagement, commencing tonight. The personnel of the chorus has been giv- en careful attention by the manage- ment for a special vaudeville tour and for beauty cannot be surpassed by any traveling organziation. The company numbers twenty-five people on the stage, carries its own musical-direct- or, carpenter, electrician, wardrobe woman and property man. There are two beautiful scenes in this musical play, one showing the Lake Shore Country Club and the other the Chica- go Yacht Club. The electrical effects are marvelous, and the costuming on a par with the most expensive produc- tions of this kind. Barristers Hold Monthly Luncheon. At the monthly luncheon of Barris- ters, the senior law honorary society, held at the union yesterday, Gardiner S. Williams spoke on "Relations of Business Law in Practical Experi- - ence," and Albert H. Walker, the New. York patent lawyer who is lecturing here on patent laws, spoke concerning "Patent Laws." Gould's Condition is Improving. Frederic E. Gould, '13, who is recov- ering from a severe case of pneumo- nia, recently underwent an operation on the plural cavity. His condition is slowly improving, but it will be some weeks before he has totally recovered.
