The subject has been discussed at length on campus and off, and the gen- eral feeling is that the second year men will gracefully withdraw in def- erence to the seniors. Prominent, sophomores when interviewed yester- day said that a postponing of Sopho- more Day-or even an abandonment of it, if no other arrangement could be made was the most suitable course in harmony with the spirit of the '14 class. The lits seem willing to put off the picnic for a week, but the engi- neers evidence a desire to retain the original dating In the meantime the seniors have been busy, trying to impress the sophs that as long as a double dating would well nigh impossible, it was the proper thing for them to with- draw, or seek another date. They en- tertain high hopes that the second year men will see the light from their angle, and the latest reports-al- though nothing definite has been de- cided-point to the compliance of the red-toquers to the wishes of the cap- and-gown squad.
