Mrs Turner entered the uni- versity from Albion College and se- cured an M. A. degree before she left. President Hutchins, Prof. A. G. Hall,' Prof. Williams, of Kalamazoo College, a graduate of Princeton, and Rev. Father O'Brien, '65, were also among the guests. About 200 were present in all. Education Professors go to Sagiuniw. Professors A. C. Whitney and C. 0. ~avis, of the education department, left last night for Saginaw to attend the annual meeting of the Michigan. State Superintendents Association. They will return Saturday. Prof. Da- vis will also deliver an extension lec- ture in Mlonroe Friday night on "Ed- ucatio)n Tendencies."~ W1i; Entertain Sophomore Girls. Sophomore girls will be entertained at a "Sophomore Frolic" by the fresh- men girls of the university at Barbour gymnasium next Saturday afternoon at 2:20. Canfield, of Detroit, will deliv- er the second of the lectures on admir- alty law in room G of the law building this afternoon. The time of these lec- tures has been changed from 3 o'clock to 8:30.
