MUSIC AND DRAMA
Vi01li1 Sonata RetaL.
The last of the Violin Sonata Recit-
als of the year will be given Wednes-
day afternoon, April 17, in High School
audtorium by Mrs. George B. Rhead
and Mr. Samuel P. Lockwood, at 415
o'clock. The series of eSonata Recitals
which will terminate with this number,
has been comprehensive in scope and
has given Anin Arbor music lovers an '
opportunity of hearing a wealth of mu-
sic literature written for the piano and
violin. "Both Mrs. Rhead and Mr Lock-
wood are gifted as ensemble players
and lie kind of work which they have
been presenting before the publie be-

What is probably the most Important
engagement at the Mvajestic theater so'
far this season, will be that of Madame
Herman, the famous -magician. 'The
late ,Prof. "Herman was her husband,
and she will offer many of the sensa-

The vaudeville act that she offers rep-
