The 47th meeting of the Michigan Schoolmasters' Club will commence at 8 o'clock tonight with a joint session of the classical conference and the Ann Arbor Art Association in the high school auditorium. Prof. F. W. Kelsey will give an illustrated lecture on"The Excavations and Discoveries at Cyrene in 1910-11" and the public is nvited to attend. The general session of the club will not begin until tomorrow morning ,vhen Prof. A.A. Michelson, of the Uni- rersity of Chicago, will speak on "Iri- descent Colors of Birds and Insects." The majority. of the state schoolmas- ers will not arrive until tomorrow night or Thursday morning as most of he conferences do not start until [hursday. Jocelyn in the registrar's Senior Law Banquet Souvenirs Will Be Small Year-Books. Although they will not have space in the Michiginensian, the senior laws will have a publication of their own in the form of a twenty page souvenir book. This book, which will be given away to all who attend the annual banquet at the Hotel Secor, Toledo, May 3, will contain the menu of the banquet, pictures of the class officers, committee chairmen, and all of the class athletic teams. It will also con- tain the class history and prophecy, a cut of the law building, and other pictures and articles of interest to the near attorneys. The class banquet committee has de- cided to offer a prize of one ticket to the class banquet and free transporta- tion to and from Toledo to the member of the class submitting the best draw- ing for a cover design for this souve- nir book. Caps and gowns are to be rented from Mack & Co. and measurements must be taken within the next two weeks. If the gowns are worn from swing-out to commencement, the rent- al will be two dollars, but if used only during commencement week,- the amount is a dollar. A five dollar de- posit is required in either case when the gown is taken. It was the opin- ion of the class that Mondays and Thursdays should be the days when caps and gowns should be worn.
