NINE SPEAKERS ENTERTAIN
SOPHOMORE LITS AT DINNER
Mr. W. H. Hamilton, of the econom-
ics faculty, was the principal speaker
at the fourth of the series of soph lit
dinners at the Michigan Union last
night.
The affair was featured by an ad-
dress by Lester Keliher, president of
the soph engineer class and by an out-
lining of the infirmary project by Ed-
win R. Thurston, '13, a member of the
Michigan Union infirmary committee.
Harold B. Schradzki acted as toast-
master and the following members of
the class responded to toasts: Elwood
Johnston, Gordon C. Eldredge, Paul
Crane, Robert Sturtevant, and Leon-
ard W. Vandersall.
LOCAL ENGINEERS RECEIVE I
APPOINTMENTS IN GEORGIA.
Prof. H. C. Anderson, of the mechan-
ical engineering department, and H. E.
Riggs, a local civil engineer, have
been appointed consulting engineers of
the Georgia railroad commission.
These appointments, which came as
surprises to both gentlemen, will be
accepted.
