Faculty Recital.
It is not often that one hears a con-
certed program that is so continuously
enjoyable as the faculty recital givenr
in High School hall last evening. From
beginning to end of a long and varied
concert, there was not. an unelevated
moment. And in recognition, the au-
dience became enthusiastic, and de-
manded encore again and again.'
Mrs. Samuel Lockwood made a wel-
come appearance, assisting Mr. Lock-
wood in the Bach D minor Concerto,
which was given with delicately fin-
ished ensemble. Mr. Howland sang
impressively as usual. The program
ended with a group of piano pieces, in
which Albert Lockwood appeared at
his best.
"Excuse Me."
" xcuse Me" is the oda title of the
farce which will be presented at the
New Whitney theater, Monday, March
18. The play is one of Henry W. Sav-
age's latest and most poular successes.
From the scenic standpoint, it is one
of the most unique and lavish pro-
d'ucionE that Mr. Savage has ever ex-
ploited. The author has hit upon a
novel idea in the matter of locale. All
the scenes are laid in the interior of
a vestibuled train on a transcontinen-
tal journey, during the progress of
which an amusing love story is un-
folded. There are plots and counter-.
plots and their action involves a sc-
ries of rollicking episodes throughout
the three acts.
"The Flower of The Ranch."
Only a few genuine and new musical
novelties have toured this country this
season. However, the ihatergoer will
find something different when "The
Flower of the Ranch," Joseph E. How-
ard's great success, opens at the New
Whitney theater, Saturday, March 16,
matinee and night. This latest How-
ard success might best be termed a mu-
sical drama, for- during the perform-

ance there are a number of stirring
climaxes, intermingled with which are
nearly twenty of the cleverest musical
numbers, and among them some real
novelties.
From a musical standpoint,it is "fat"
.with song and chorus, and together
with its dramatic settings and geni-
ine comedy situations, it is just a little
the most intricate and genuinely de-
lightful combination ever squeezed into
two hours of footlight folly. The pro-
duction is scenically correct in every
detail and the electrical insertions aid
wonderfully in getting the desired ef-
fects,
Majestic Theater.
Manager Lane of the Majestic the-
ater will spring another sensation
around the campus next Sturday
night when he will introduce for the
first time the latest craze, "a waltzing
contest." In other wo-rds, immediate-
ly after each show that night ten men-
bers of the audience will be invited to
go upon the stage and waltz with an
equal number of the ladies of the Mer-
ry Mary company for a prize of a five
dollars in gold, which will be given to
the two best dancers. The audience
will act as judges and decide the win-
ners of the contest. Those desiring to
enter will be required to leave their
names .at the Majestic box office any
time before six o'clock Saturday night.

Wants Eighteen Men
W E would like to get in touch with about eight-
teen young men who want . to learn the
automobile business. We want men who wish to
learn the business from the ground up, with the
expectation of remaining in it for a long time. We
think there is no better business for the right sort
of young men to go into than the automobile
business.
We are lo king for men who are not ashamed
to get up early in the morning, put on over alls and
work in the factory for some months, building and
testing cars-men who aren't afraid to get a little
grease on their hands and faces.
After this factory course in the technical feat-
ures of the automobile, we would afford opportunity
for training for better positions and for places as
salesmen.
We shall conduct a regular school of sales.
manship and will endeavor to locate the men
who do good work, in satisfactory sales positions.
If you are interested, write, giving name ad-
dress, age, height, weight, nationality, college course
pursued, previous business experience, if any,
student organizations of which you are a member,
college activities and references. Address Depart-
