F. M. Loomis, '12, medic, addressed
the University Clinical Society and
members of the Medical department
last evening in the west amphitheater
of the Medical building. His lecture
was illustrated with original photo-
graphs which he has collected in his
study of pathological subjects.
Through the courtesy of the National
Cash Register Company of Dayton,
Ohio, moving pictures, showing the so-
cial evils in this country, were thrown
on the screen. Last summer, Loomis,
in the interests of this company, di-
rected the taking of these pictures
which have been exhibited to the em-
ployees of the Dayton firm. The reels
of pictures were taken at great ex-
pense in original color by an imported
Kinemacolor outfit, and were never be-
fore shown to a public audience.
